Churches call on UK Government to support stateless people

A new initiative calling for improved rights and better support for ‘stateless’ people has been backed by the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams and Rabbi Hercshel Gluck OBE, chairman of the Arab-Jewish Forum.

The Methodist Church of Britain has signed the Armed Forces Covenant pledging its commitment to fair treatment and support to the whole Armed Forces community including regulars, reserves, veterans, and their families. The signing took place at Methodist Church House on Tuesday 14 November.
