Men's Supper Meeting

The Men's Supper Meeting, formerly known as the Men's Supper Club,  holds meetings at Shirley Methodist Church in the small hall on the first Monday of the month (unless a bank holiday) from October to April. Our current average attendance levels are 43. 

Membership is open to ALL not just members of the Church. Just sign the board on the reception desk and come along.  We have members from all walks of life and of varying denominations and ages.  The excellent meals are cooked on the premises by our current Catering Specialist.  Members from the Girl Guides also serve the meals which helps them to achieve their Hostess Badges.

There is no membership fee but a subscription of £4.50 is payable at each attendance which includes a 3 course meal with coffee. The meal provides the opportunity for everyone to make or renew friendships.  After the meal an invited speaker gives a talk or presentation on a topic on which they have specialist knowledge, or about a company or organisation with which they are involved. Donations are made, where relevant, to charities which the speaker sponsors or represents.

Remember the MENS SUPPER MEETING WELCOMES ALL to participate in the fellowship and to share a meal.
