Day Centres

There are currently two day centres, one which meets on Mondays and the other Wednesdays.

The Wednesday Day Centre for the Physically Handicapped

We provide a loving, caring environment for people who are housebound. They are nearly all elderly.

Tea or Coffee on arrival is followed by a friendly chat or a game of cards. Lunch is provided at noon and then the afternoon is spent enjoying either entertainment or a 'Fun Game'. Afternoon tea rounds of the afternoon.

In addition to the weekly sessions, there is a yearly outing and a Christmas party.

The day centre times are 10.15am to 3.00pm and is suited to people of a lively mind. Transport is provided.
