Living Faith - Living with Faiths There will be a morning of sharing and exploration facilitated by Rev. Ray Gaston, the District Inter-faith Enabler, who preached at Shirley recently. It will take place at Maypole Methodist Church on Saturday 6th February from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00p.m.  All are welcome - breakfast will be provided! Please share transport where possible.

Two’s Harmony Invitation to the Dance Saturday 6th February, 2.30pm.  Tickets now on sale, adults £6, children £1, from Graham Lowe, Jean Hamilton

Traidcraft goods and hand made cards on sale in the small hall after morning service.

The overhead projector in the church office is taking up valuable storage space and appears to be used very infrequently.  If there is a need to keep this equipment, please make this known to any of the property stewards, or the Office by the end of February.

Our church cleaner, Mrs Williams will be on holiday between Monday 22nd and Sunday 28th February.  In order to keep the foyer and toilet areas presentable to the public we need some volunteers to help with cleaning tasks.  Ideally 6 teams of 2 are needed to work one day for a period of 30-45 minutes, to ensure that the toilets are cleaned and properly stocked, the floors there and in the Coffee Shop and foyer are clean and that any rubbish is bagged and binned outside.  Over the last few years, the same people have undertaken this duty - it would be good if others could step forward.  Please contact the property stewards if you are able to help, with the day that you could be available.

Circuit office have sent the following notices:

(From the Connexional Team) >We are currently advertising for a volunteer Chairperson for the Music in Worship Rolling-Resource Group, for a period from April 2010 to July 2011.

Additional background information will also be offered to candidates through the paper submitted to this week’s Council meeting which can be found at the following link: http://www.methodist.org.uk/downloads/coun-1006-rolling-resource-190110.pdf .

The Church Council of Methodist Central Hall, Coventry is seeking to appoint a full time Business Co-ordinator.  Closing date for applications is 1st March 2010.
