MOSELEY ROAD & SPARKHILL CIRCUIT CALLING ALL SINGERS AND CHOIR MEMBER On Sunday July 11^th at 6.30pm a Circuit Service will be held at Earlswood Methodist Church, arranged and led by Revd Tony Malcolm. Tony would like to try a sung communion for this service, based on a past Greenbelt service. If you are interested in singing or helping in any way with the service, please come along to a briefing meeting/rehearsal at Shirley Methodist on Tuesday 22^nd June, 7.30pm to 9.30pm. On the day of the service, we hope to have an open workshop at 3.30 pm, where members of the Circuit can come along and familiarise themselves with the music (CD based). Please pass on this invitation to anyone who might be interested in this project. Please let Tony know if you’re coming to the introductory meeting on the 22^nd June at 7.30pm. Also, let him know if you’d like a copy of the CD before the 22^nd. Thank you in anticipation.

STRAWBERRY CREAM TEA

Thank you to everyone who supported us last Saturday. Special thanks to the SCONE MAKERS and of course thanks to our loyal supporters. It was a successful day which would not have happened without you. Between us we raised £180 for our church funds.

Community Gospel Choir - please note: the date for the next rehearsal which has been changed to 14th July.

Shirley Methodist Church Choir invite you to Choruses, Canapés and Quizzes - a benefit evening to support Methodist Homes - on Saturday 17th July at 7.30pm. Tickets are now on sale from choir members £6 adults, £1 children, which includes a light supper of canapés and drinks. Please support this event and help us raise a good sum for the choir’s annual donation to the work of MHA.

Earlswood Methodist Church are holding their Grand Fete on Saturday 3rd July. All are invited to join in the fun, 2 - 4.30pm, see posters for more details.

Also - Greenbelt on Saturday 27th August (for the day)

There is a proposal to take a Circuit Group to Greenbelt - cost to be confirmed, but anticipated to be no more than £25. THIS IS AN EVENT ESPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES. Please contact Revd Tony Malcolm asap to register your interest.

Note for your diary: Junior Church Festival will take place on 4th July, 10.30am.
